Mark Pruitt is a seasoned psychotherapist with over 25 years of experience, spanning various settings including community mental health centers, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and private practice. His extensive background also encompasses roles in mental health management, social work supervision, and the founding and operation of a not-for-profit farmed animal sanctuary for a decade.
Drawing from this rich tapestry of experiences, Mark guides individuals towards a deeper comprehension of their emotions and the profound influence of past and present circumstances on their lives. Educationally, Mark holds a Bachelor's degree in geography with a concentration in social work from Northern Kentucky University. He furthered his studies by obtaining a Master's in Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, followed by a post-master's certificate in psychodynamic psychotherapy from the American Institute for Psychoanalysis in New York.
